Bushwalkers rescued from Blue Mountains

Looks like the rescue services were busy over the weekend with multiple rescues in the blue mountains.

Rescue 1
Rescue teams have battled torrential rain to rescue two groups of bushwalkers stranded by flooded creeks in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.

Rescue 2.
POLICE from Blue Mountains Rescue are escorting three people out of bushland near Springwood after they spent the night lost.

The 1st one may be an old story? I don't think the creeks were up on the weekend.

Valid Point Darren.

In Victoria on the weekend a guy got lost by punching in the wrong GPS Coordinates.

And only a couple of weeks back in Queensland a man had to be rescued by chopper.

There seems to have been a lot of accidents lately.

I guess its just a reminder to take care out there in the bush.
