Haven't been there for ages, am now confused with the naming please enlighten me. Also the final dirt road, how long is it? I presume still passable with 2WD?

Yes all pretty much the same. It is dirt road from just past the 6 foot track crossing but all perfectly ok by 2WD.

Is Dunphys Camping Area = Carlon's Farm = Green Gully?

The naming is confusing. Dunphys is the campground. Green Gully is the valley before you reach the campground (and some would say includes the campground). Carlons Farm is located in Green Gully (ruins on the right just after you cross the single lane wooden bridge over Galong Creek). I think I have that right, if not could someone please correct me. :D

Distance of dirt road about 7km according to Google.

Additional general information re road access: The dirt road section crosses farm land and there are 2 or 3 gates (can't remember exactly) on the road. Some people get confused when they get to the gates and think that is as far as you can go. You are allowed to go through the gates. Please make sure that you close the gates after you have gone through them.

Cheers,
Michael.

For extra confusion, Carlon's Farm is also known as 'Packsaddlers'

There are a total of 3 gates.
