Hello
Apologies in advance if I have posted this in the wrong section, but would anyone be able to comment on the likely conditions - eg snow cover - on the Mosquito Creek Track section of the AAWT (ie Northern Kosciusko Region) in late August ?

Most of that area is around 1400m elevation so you will most probably encounter snow but not terribly deep and likely to be patchy unless directly after a big dump. You can get an idea of cover by checking snow depths on the sma web site
http://www.snowyhydro.com.au/our-energy/water/inflows/snow-depths-calculator/. Currently there is none at Deep Creek (1620m) and 8 cm at 3 Mile Dam (1460m). These readings are updated each Thursday/Friday.
I am unsure of your route but you need to sort out access as many of the roads are locked off over winter - eg Long Plain Rd.
