Is Nepean Gorge open?

If Blue Mountains National Park is closed, can I still kayak along the Nepean River? Blue Mountains National Park is found on both sides of the river.

The Nepean River itself is not in the national park even if there is NP on both banks. I believe the relevant authority is RMS - I don't see a closure notice on https://www.rms.nsw.gov.au/maritime/usi ... index.html

Just keep in mind that the Erskine Creek fire (which sprung out of the Green Wattle) is active, out of control and is impacting unburnt bush in the area.
