Bridge over Munyang

Hi.
With the bridge over the Munyang out, is the Disappointment Spur Fire trail still relatively accessible, either heading out or back from the power station?

Does anyone know Has there been any coordinated lobbying to try and get a pedestrian bridge re opened? If not who would be best to do this and to approach whom ?

I tried via NPWS (who are not responsible for this part of the snowies) and Snowy Mtns Scheme people who apparently ARE responsible for this part of the world. They advised that they had no interest in fixing/rebuilding a bridge. This would have been about 18 months ago, doubt anything has changed.
