Another "Reclaim the Lagoon Walk" (the 5th so far) will be held on Dec 7-8 2024 and again in early January as momentum builds to ask NPWS to purchase this property back .
On average 40 people have attended each of these Reclaim weekends so far.
Still there is no word on what development might be planned for this wilderness area but ominously someone has recently removed the signs outlining the new legal bypass route. ( Does anyone know who ? ) Hopefully this does not lead to an escalation in this issue.
