Track found near Tom Groggin

Postby balko » Sat 02 Feb, 2013 9:12 am

The family and i camped for a few days at Tom Groggin over the long week end. We fished (no luck) did some 4wd to the tip of Mt Pinnaburra. We walked the Harrington trail that was a bit steep for the 4yo but but still had a great day with a picnic on the river half way. We also found a track up stream from Tom Groggin (about 2 km near where the proposed Rileys bush camp is to be. If you cross from NSW (Indi wild area) it seems to follow the murray towards Tom groggin Flats. It seems you could enter it from the bottom of Davies hut trail also. It was getting late in the day so we turned back. Does any one Know what and where this trail go,s and ends. Also is it ok for kids. Thanks in Advance Balko

Never been there personally, but my (old) topo map shows a foot trail pretty much paralelling the river all the way up to where Tin Mine Falls drops into the Murray.
