Hey all. Ive decided to make my free weekend a leisurely stroll up from mooney mooney trackhead in brisbane waters national park with a relaxing overnight stay. I notice in the maps theres a "aboriginal area" a little bit upstream in an area I might have camped. Im not sure if its just a name or do you need permissiom from traditionl owners to stay there? Sorry if its a dumb question I never noticed it before. I was going to be mainly sticking close to the GNW track

Don't know if you can camp in these areas. I'd suggest contacting NPWS in Gosford and find out from them.

Did you see these pages:

Cheers,
Michael.

Thanks michael. I couldnt find that info on their website last night. Will give the office a call. Im not planning on camping their specifically but I guess its a case of if I do happen to be there (even unintentially) do I have the right to be there.
