Chainsaws at Bowtells Bridge

We were around Bowtells Bridge on the weekend and appalled to see new land owners on the Jenolan side out with chainsaws cutting back the bush between the track and the river. The block adjacent is for sale too, the agent mentions potential for development (accommodation etc). Feels like if the lands privately owned people can do pretty much what they like. For us it's now somewhere to stay away from, too sad
