Water around Mobbs?

Postby mikeharg » Fri 11 Jul, 2014 2:12 pm

Hello bushwalkers — long time lurker, first time poster. Hope I'm in the right place!

We're planning a walk out to Splendour Rock in the next few weeks, wondering what the water situation is like around Mobbs? Was last through there in September and it was very dry then, even the little creek outside the main camping area which is usually quite reliable. Has it improved since?

Welcome mikeharg,

Last weekend it was just trickling, with the pools full of drinkable water. Always good to boil or purify if in doubt.
Tackling the unknown and the awesome one adventure at a time!
