Aaaaaaarrrrggghhh. What happened to the topo.notto.be/ maps? They've gone. Is it just me? Can anyone else still access them, or know what happened?
Loved that site. I should have known it was too good to last. :(

Thanks, Tom. That's pretty good. Loses resolution when you zoom out compared to t.n. but I can learn to live with that :)

Thanks Tom. I have talked to the person who set up topo.notto.be and he is looking at the problem. It looks like the server he was grabbing the maps from is not longer online. It certainly was a useful site for drawing a route on and emailing the link for that route to someone else.

Yeah, it worked quite well for quickly outlining routes for other people. Would be good to see it working again.

Looks like topo.notto.be is sort of back up. Only a portion of NSW has been included, mainly Sydney and the Blue Mountains, but other areas are to follow eventually - https://twitter.com/toponotto

Fantastic work t.n. person! Really appreciate having this back.
The maps are v similar, but a little different now. Some different detail with symbols, and some different trail ends/routes, also no pink-line-of-death round Warragamba on this version.

I like
http://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewe ... &source=sd
because one can overlay the map with GPX tracklog route.
Question: Is there a similar arcgis map (or other similar online maps) for other Australian States? and in particular, for NT? (The above mentioned website is only for NSW.)
