Hi All, looking at the older toppo maps, there is a track marked that goes from the bottom of Pippas Pass along Glenbrook creek all the way to Duck Hole. Anyone walked that recently, is it still there?

Hi Webguy,

I don't know anything about that track, but it looks like Dave Noble has been that way recently. Below is some of his blog entries which may be of use.

I've read that it's quite overgrown and difficult to follow, but I'm not sure how accurate that is. I did try and follow it downstream from where the Pippas Pass track drops down to Glenbrook Ck once, but lost it in short order. But it's on my list of tracks to try and do. It's still marked on the current topo maps, so hopefully the track should still be there.

I'll try and check it out in a couple of weeks time; Uni holidays are coming up and I'm currently marooned in Canberra... But if anyone has been there recently, I'd be interested to hear too!

Hey webguy, I did that walk a few months ago. there was not really any track as such, just very occasional signs of a footpad but it was pretty easy going.

Walked up from Duck Hole to Warrimoo in April.

No track but definitely a path of least resistance almost all of the way. The crossing points are marked on the old topo maps, and are pretty accurate.
