Bushwalk Australia

Hi,
I am planning to do this walk either way "Kings Tableland Katoomba" and would like to know any suggestion which way is more uphill or which way is more downhill etc.
And I am planning to drive and park my car at either "end" and would like to know from where should I start walk / finish also direction where I should park car at start of walk and back to my car etc.
Where I do camp and drinking water is available anywhere or needs to take full supply with me.

That website lists a number of walks you can do and they include detailed track notes including how to get there and water availability.

If you are going to overnight it is a good idea to let the local authorities know your route. More information is here http://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/safety/bushwalking-safety/trip-intention-form. They will also provide you with free hire of a personal locator beacon.

Edit. Sorry just reviewed your posting history, it appears you have been around for a while, I just assumed you were new to the area based on how the questions were framed. If you are not new to the area then apologies for the basic "new walker" info.

I hope someone can come along with information on the kings table land. Ive never walked further than the kedumba pass so can not provide any info on the area. Going off the topo map there are a number of fire trails and possible tracks that could be followed. (I dont know if the tracks are still there though)

From memory it is mostly fire trail. A small camp area on the Jamieson river but the water needs to be treated. I would not say it is the most interesting of walks and could be done in a day. From vague memory (and no map handy) I think you pick up one of the tourist walking tracks from Leura to Katoomba somewhere near the old sewerage treatment works which then takes to to the Furber stairs and Katoomba. Probably better to start at the Wentworth Falls end as it will be easier to pick up the exit point to get onto the tourist track. I am sure there are other routes but as it was not appealing I have not been back.

I saw the map at google it is around 20km it thought good to go for overnight and stay one night in blue mt area as I love this area and want to back again again.
