Need another 2K signatures to trigger a debate on this issue in the NSW parliament. Please sign on to help get this wonderful bushwalk reopened and prevent NP closures elsewhere. https://www.parliament.nsw.gov.au/lc/pa ... XOB3MBXJYQ

Cheers. Unaware but have signed and passed around. Touchy subject these days.

We reached our 10k+ goal. The issue will now be debated in NSW parliament. NPWS misinformation and lies to be laid bare in the people's chamber.

Significant high points are generally sacred places for aboriginals and men in particular. After Uluru became off limits it was only a matter of time for Mt Warning (Wollumbin) to join it. I can see in the future other spots that could be considered off limits. These could include Mt Exmouth in the Warrumugles, Mt Imlay near Eden and I think Mt Dromedary already is (near Tilpa Tilpa).

It's Tilba Tilba and I believe it is still open. I think if Australia goes down the route of closing high points there will be a significant number of bushwalks which will be available only to a small percentage of the population - one race and one gender. Something seems a bit off about that.

Wow, that's disturbing and, these numpties have played straight into the hands of the people who want to divide us by race.

Nice blame game there - if only "them there folks hadn't raised this issue". History is pretty clear on how kow-towing on any topic in the face of the sort of extreme sc*m on display in that article is a very bad idea.
