Can't comment on current conditions as I haven't been there for quite some time. But I have been there many times at all times of the year and usually the creek is flowing above the cascades upstream of the main falls and camping area. There are a number of fairly deep water holes up there as well. A bit of a scramble up there but there is also a vague pad if you hunt around. Water quality should be OK but I would treat any water in RNP due to potential run off from surrounding urban areas and poor hygiene by some visitors. Often seen TP left lying around Uloola even though there's a toilet there.
