GeoRabble is an ad-hoc social event for people interested in maps and geospatial stuff. It involves a few short talked and then time to socalise.

Next event is the evening, 27th March in Sydney Occidental Hotel
https://georabble.org/2025/03/05/ticket ... -the-27th/

Current talks below, we're still looking for additional speakers.
Tom Brennan – “Magic Maps”, or How to cheat finding passes when bushwalking
Ken Tsang – Year of the Bus: Empowering Drivers and Passengers with Geospatial Technology
Alex Allchin – DIY Geospatial Tech Stack for Free: Leaflet, GeoServer, Coolify & generous cloud tiers

Tom and myself are active here. My talk is about the bushwalkingmaps.com website and how you can build similar things.

Sign up here if you're keen to come along

Wish I could make it, but I'm away. Hopefully it goes well and you'll do another in the future

Not sure if we have a good set up for recording, but I'll have a think to see if it's possible. It would be nice to have them recorded though.
