Wow, different! Curious as to how the dates were arrived at (not being familiar with this type of thing) as they predate white man's occupation.
Looks like a good birding spot as well.

Can you tell me a bit about this group? Lived in Armidale for over 20 years and never came across this before. My son would be interested. What is the significance of the dates? This seems to bear no relationship to European occupation of Australia.

You should get a few gigs coming up - there are a series of bicentennials of explorers coming up starting with Blaxland, Wentworth and Lawson's crossing of the Blue Mountains (2013). Then Evans (2013 and 2015) and Oxley (2017). A lot of the expedition was treking on two legs as you demonstrate, with some pack horses carrying supplies.
