August 12 2012. I went up to the summit of Mt St Gwinear from the car park on snow shoes. The snow was about 1/2 metre deep around the summit. The weather was rather good too.It was grand day out and very good exercise.
I 'll try mt. Erica next time I get the snow shoe itch.It gives access to the AAWT and is said to be less busy in general during the snow season in the Baw Baw national park .

Hi,
I have just seen your wonderful Gwinear photos and wonder if it would be ok if I put the first one on the Erica Ski Hire website please.
They are great photos and really show Gwinear beautifully.
Cheers

Hi
Yes no problem. We used the gear that we hired from your shop at Erica ski hire. So if it spreads the word about your likable shop and the winter beauty of the Baw Baw Nat. park then well and good.
I am sometimes known as the " TURBANATOR on ICE",you can use that caption. You don't see many people wearing their hiking shirt as a turban in
t- shirt ski weather these days. It comes naturally to me what with Pakistani /Rajasthani blood and ancestors.
