G'day folks.
Trust your well.
Um.....as Im driving around Victoria - anyone know of any near road natural springs that they could recommend? Good way to fill up on god's juice!

There is one in the Dandenong Ranges at Kays Picnic Ground (between Kallista and Monbulk). It's located on the other side of the creek from the car park. There used to be a pipe running from it so people could fill there containers with the water. The pipe was taken away a few years ago but it's still possible to access the spring.

There's one at the Ten Mile car park on Donna Buang and at St Ronans Well about 1 km past Dom Dom Saddle on the Black Spur.

Blackwood has two down of Golden Point rd, different flavour on each side of the river.

Favourite one is at the top of the range on the Mt Beauty to Bright road

Quite a good little guide if you can track one down, try the local library, photocopy sections if you need to.
......I enjoyed tracking them down & tasting the different mineral contents from various sites.
For some, you might have to hold your nose though.

Here is a web site that has lists of springs worldwide, only 15 for Australia though (so far). Perhaps you can add some.

MacAlister springs. Even in summer it is C O L D. It comes out of the bedrock of the Howitt High Plains.
