Sherbrooke Forrest condition (VIC)

Postby oyster_07 » Fri 20 Jun, 2014 6:38 pm

I'm in Melbourne and I've got a day off work that I have completely to myself (in that my partner will be at work).

I'm thinking of a 30-40km trail run, except I don't have trail shoes with me. I only have my regular runners.

Does any know the current condition of tracks in the Sherbrooke Forrest? How much mud is there?

I haven't been on any of the tracks for about 6 weeks. Generally the main tracks aren't too bad but some of the smaller tracks can get muddy. A lot of the main tracks can be up to 2-3m wide so easy enough to get around muddy sections if there are any. You shouldn't have too many problems with regular runners
Sometimes, I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
