I'm heading up to Mt Stirling for an overnighter. I'm looking for some advice on trails, etc.
I'm thinking
Telegraph Box Junction on huts trail, to suss out the razorback camping area (for future trips)
turn left for a short stint on circuit rd
turn onto stirling trail
turn onto clear hills track
camp at craigs hut
return the same way.
All the trails seem open and in good condition (according to the ranger).

You could return via the Summit & Howqua Gap track and the River Spur. You will get different views descending via the River spur and the last hour along the Circuit road back to TBJ is easy walking or in white season it is simple , easy and pleasant for Nordic skiing.

Thanks for the recommendation, I had that as an option on return, or the bluff trail through baldy loop.
It seems like they're both around the same distance even though they look really different on the map.
