Woman Lost in Snowy River National Park Found
Posted: Sun 07 Apr, 2013 4:56 pmA woman who was lost in the Snowy River National Park in north-east Victoria for four days has been found after she wrote "help" in the sand of a riverbank.
Lynette Joyce Bond, from Mornington, south-east of Melbourne, was spotted on the banks of the Snowy River before midday today.
She was winched to safety by the Victoria Police airwing.
The 68-year-old has been taken to hospital for a check up but is believed to be in good health.
Police found her four-wheel-drive vehicle on the Deddick Track yesterday with a note saying it had broken down on Wednesday.
