Hi everyone, has anyone walked up the Conglomerate creek valley recently? I did this walk back in the 1990s. Going down to Wonnangatta station via Dry river track and came out via Conglomerate creek valley climbing a trackless spur to a prominent high point and then rejoining the dry river track. Was a spectacular walk, very difficult in parts. Would love to do it again one day but not sure its still doable.

Regards, Mitch

Hi Mitch one of the guys in my bushwalk club planned such trip over Easter I am not sure if it went ahead or not (I am sure he went anyway he is not scared to do a solo walk like that).
I wanted to do the walk to but had organised a quick trip to NZ instead.
From memory it is a difficult walk up Conglomerate Creek, I think his plan was to walk down the dry river track and camp at Wonnangatta then spend two days getting out via Conglomerate Crk. Only a small camp site is available there but I am not sure where.
