Hi Everyone,

This is my first post so I hope it works, I'm hiking from Neds Gully campground to The Farmyard on Saturday, does anyone know if there is water in the creek near The Farmyard at the moment?

Thanks!

Consider treatment, I think the entire camp is in the upper catchment.

Thanks for the replies, do you think purification tablets will be ok?

Most treatments work for most water. The concern with the Farmyard is that it's a relatively small watershed and not everyone is good at toileting. It's about 20-30 minutes of steepish climbing from the creek at the bottom of the hill near the road to the Farmyard. If you are coming in that way you may wish to consider carrying drinking water from the bottom. The Farmyard is a permit area, and there are other nearby places where one can camp sans permit.
