Free Camping

Hi All,
I'm spending 2 weeks at Phillip Island over the Christmas break. Want to spend some time in a tent, any free camping sites/legal beach camping within an hour or so drive?

Theres a great app called Wikicamps. It will list all free camps anywhere in Australia and near your gps location. It has user reviews , photos , gps locations and what is at the site. Eg water, showers etc. You can add your own spots also. Well worth a look.
Phillip island a great place but just remember it will be busy over Christmas.

Thanks for that, I'll check it out.
In laws have a holiday house at Phillip Island so spent every holiday there for the last 10 years, hence why I want to get away.
