Big River chain broken

If anyone is considering crossing Big River at the bottom of T Spur / Duane Spur, note the chain is broken.

I was there a few days ago attempting the Eskdale / Quartz Ridge circuit. Making my way down T Spur I was thinking thank God I don't have to walk back up this - which his exactly what I had to do when I discovered the river high and the chain broken! :(
