Mt Cobbler Plateau - water at Rose River?

I am heading for Mt Cobbler this weekend. My old VMTC map indicates water being available at the head of the Rose River, before reaching the Cobbler summit. Has any one ever found water here please? Thank you.

This crossed my mind when I was up there as it is only 250m from the saddle camp but I never bothered in the end. I only saw it written up as a dry camp so presume there is some problem accessing rose ck.

It is not a long carry from the Dandongadale coming from lake cobbler.
