The Bluff to Brocks Road

Has anyone recently walked either of the spurs that run from The Bluff to Brocks Rd near Nobs Track? One of them is sometimes known as Jamieson Spur. Most accounts suggest they are horribly scrubby. Is this still the case?

I have not walked down that route. I read horror stories about the Jamieson spur and just walked down Refrigerator Gap 4 WD track instead. Dense Bushfire regrowth tends continue unabated esp. after a wet summer as we recently had. Since it was never an official track for walking there would be no incentive for PV or BTAC to go and clear a path.
Road walking is not very interesting but it is not an ordeal compared to insane bush bashing through blackberries etc. ......
which leads me to mention Cairn Creek 4 WD track which also connects that ridge with Brock's road.I have also walked that route.
