Just a timely reminder....I've come across 14 slithering serpents in SE Qld over the last couple of days. Mainly red bellied blacks and a lonesome brown.
They seem to be coming out of the woodwork.

yep same here .
Trod on one and saw half a dozen on an overnight hike in the lerderderg last weekeend .
All red bellies and all quite active .

it is the time for lovin' for snakes, theres more out and about now then there will be in summer
