Beautiful One Day, Plundered the Next!

Postby whynotwalk » Thu 31 May, 2012 3:23 pm

Queensland National Parks are now in the same department as Recreation, Sport and Racing. Why am I not placated by the kinds of assurances the Liberal National government is giving about future developments in national parks :?: "Wanna come in and develop? You betcha!"

The Queensland government will tread softly as it opens up commercial opportunities in the state's national parks, Tourism Minister Jann Stuckey says.

The new Liberal National Party government has promised greater recreational and commercial use of national parks and state forests.

Hunting in nataural parks in NSW now by the liberals.
I just do not trust every hunter doing the right thing and I think someone sooner or later will get shot.
I am sure 99% of hunters are great but the 1%???
THis has happened in New Zealand.

Firearm safety has to do with educating hunters. It is irrelevant to whether they hunt in National Parks or not.
