Multiday hikes with dogs

Hi all. I can see threads about this topic for SA, Vic and tassie but not for SE QLD.
Are there any options within driving distance (?a days drive) from Brisbane (eg northern nsw or de qld) to take your dog on multi day hikes? I’ve found info on line anout camping or short walks in state forests in nsw but nothing that seems to allow me to do a multiday hike - and I love nothing more than putting my pack on my back and getting away from the hustle and bustle - but don’t want to leave my fur baby behind
Any advice is greatly appreciated

As far as i know...dogs are limited to State forests & forest reserves...but if the State forest is big enough or if there's a few close together you might be able to make a multi day walk out of them.

I checked a few possible places off the top of my head.
Flinders Goolman...horses yes, dogs no.
Wyaralong trails...horses yes, dogs no.
Bicentennial trail...horses yes dogs no.
Cutters camp, Mebbin NP...horses yes dogs no.

Yeah its a real shame that the bicentennial trail doesnt allow dogs.

National parks and wilderness areas are not dog-friendly, for good reasons.

The only multi-day option I can think of where dogs are allowed (on a leash) is the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Or you could make up your own walk through a mix of roads, fire trails in state forests and/or beaches where dogs would be allowed.
