Hello all

I am looking for a resource to find walks. The area could include SEQ down to Coffs Harbour and inland to Armidale. So far bookshops have not been a help and the various government websites not all that easy to navigate. Are there any books or websites that collate this information?

Thanks.

Just a few from me, I'm sure others will chime with a lot more....

http://www.takeawalk.com.au/
http://www.southee.com/ based on the bushpeoples guide to bushwalking s/east qld

http://bushwalking.meetup.com/cities/au/brisbane/

Bushwalking clubs...check out their newsletters. Join if you wish. Again many more out there.

http://www.bosq.bwq.org.au/
http://www.bushwalkers.com/

Maps on dvd.....search and seek to your hearts content.
Sunmap rastor for S/East Qld
Topoview rastor for NSW

And as you've already checked out....National Park websites in QLD & NSW

Just a few ideas to get you started......researching an area your interested in is all part of the fun. :wink:

There are a few of us bloggers out there that cover that sort of area and might be of use to you.

try these;

and of course our blog page: we are based in coffs harbour but get to a few different places.

see also a thread on this blog page about the coffs coast for some suggestions on reading material.
