Hi all ....
I am going to walk the Donnelly River village to Pemberton section of the Bibbulmum track shortly .
Does anybody know if the is any problems with rats / mice in any of the shelters along this section of the track . Nice to know so I can prevent the inevitable .
While I am at it , any ideas to get from Bridgetown to Donnelly River Village .
Steven ........

There are issues at some shelter huts. Best thing to do is put your food in a dry bag and then hang it up from the rafters.

I believe 50lb fishing line works well. Strong enough to hold a food bag, and way too thin for rodents to climb.

Many huts have tubs available to put your food bag in overnight, you cant rely on this though as if there are many users in camp at the time there is not enough room.
