Gammons waterholes

Postby mikethepike » Wed 09 Jul, 2025 12:27 pm

Hi! I'm headed up to the central Gammons next week with a Brisbane friend to scatter his Dad's ashes (his Dad and I were bushwalking teammates) and wonder if anyone has been there during this or last year and if so, if there was any water at Junction Waterhole? Given the ongoing lack of rain in the area, Rover and Sambot are almost certain to be dry and I suspect that the normally far more reliable Junction WH will also be dry. Any help here greatly appreciated. With no response or if Junction is also dry, then a big water carry will be required. Thanks and cheers, Mike
