Pyramid Mountain via Rocky Hill

Got nothing much to do on this rather nasty weekend? Then you might like to read about our trip from last weekend, where we camped on Rocky Hill (night one), climbed Pyramid Mountain (night two, once more, on Rocky), and out on day three. The weather was freezing, but otherwise fabulous. Drinking ached inside as the water was so cold and the Collingwood was predictably gelid, especially as the air temperature was minus one in both directions of the crossing.
It was a tough walk , with lots of goose-stepping, and a pretty severe scrub bash on the final ascent from the saddle, but it was doable, and we had a grand time.
In my blog (natureloverswalks.com), I've posted Rocky Hill as one blog, and Pyramid as another so people can search for them separately some later time. Here is a picture to whet your appetite (I hope).
