Parks vic says farmyard spring no longer flowing
I understand a creek is close to the farmyard

Thanks

Hi Dino,
I was up there last weekend and the creek was dry, (I presume the spring is what feeds the creek) and you would need to carry all your water requirements in.
Having said that we had some rain this week so there may be a trickle now?? I'd be taking in what I needed I reckon though.
Cheers
Kevin

Are you just planning on going for the one night? Yes it's steep but it does only take 1 hour to get to the Farmyard from Cooks Mill. If it were me I would just carry a couple of litres.

Can anyone send a map of where exactly the spring is, please?

I don't think there is an actual spring. Just walk down the track from the Farmyard towards Cooks Mill until you can hear water running in the gully to your left. It's probably several hundred metres - the distance varies with how dry conditions are.

I would take Big Kevs advice and lug your water up , good chance it’s especially dry now!
