Great South West Walk
Posted: Sun 05 Jan, 2025 4:31 pmDon't see many posts about Western Vic, apart from the Grampians, so here's a few photos of our 3 days hiking part of the Great South West Walk.
Lovely walk, not at all crowded, only 1 other couple going the same direction. Another couple walking upstream who had arranged Kayaks to be delivered at Moleside to paddle back to Nelson.
Also 8 or so Canoes paddling but they were camping at the Canoe camps
Day 1 Moleside camp to Battersby camp 19km
Day 2 Battersby camp to Pattersons Canoe camp 14km
Day 3 Pattersons to Nelson 13km ( had to short cut due to time constraints)
Just avoid the Car Camping sites
