Life is Terminal Illness

Postby Gulliver3 » Sun 10 May, 2015 1:52 pm

Came across this thought provoking quote.
"Life is a terminal illness and we have no excuse not to live each moment like it was our last"

The important bit is the acceptance that life is fatal. Nothing you can do about it. No big deal. Death is not a tragedy, its an unavoidable fact of life. So get over it.

I'd rather not. Makes it too easy to kill other people. Doesn't matter that much, does it, if there's something beyond?

To some, it matters everything.
Shame, really...

From a Karmic point of view, it matters very much.

How many of you actually understand irony?

Those of us who are old enough to be watching our parents and siblings die are well aware of this.
The only solution is to continue to live as best we can and try and leave the world a slightly better place
Beside which if we didn't die there would very soon be no room for our grandchildren.
Move over and make room for the next generations and hope they do a better job than we have
Ve are too soon old und too late schmart
