Thanks for this link sim1oz.
When bushwalking, especially off-track- one uses muscles which may have become neglected. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that multi-day pack carries do us the world of good. I think the observation here is to know your limits and exceed them without being silly about it!
It certainly works for me- that article was great. There were a few good links out in the footer on that page too. Thanks for the share!

Nice article. Just don't over do on the pack weight front.
