vinyl patching

So after a bunch of running around and searching, I finally tracked down something to patch my clear PVC Sealline See bag. Got it from whitworths so should be available to most. Its called "tools for pools" Fast Patch. its pretty much just some clear vinyl and a MEK/Toluene based solvent glue. cut the patch, apply glue, get fresh air. tomorrow I'll take a look and see how its going. Ideally this should be a lifetime repair as the solvent should chemically weld the surfaces. The guy at the shop was pretty funny, "I've got a patch kit but it will probably cost more than its worth" 14$ to fix a 40$ bag might be a bit much, but I figure if all I need a second patch it will be worth it. there was probably a cheaper solution somewhere, but not by much I'd guess.
