Handy stuff.

If I'm repeating something someone else has already posted I apologise.

As a newly diagnosed diabetic, I'm checking glucose so often my fingertips look like colanders. The good news is, the wee things the test strips come in are snap shut, watertight and the perfect size for the basic redhead match. Also, some of my tablets have a small bag of silica gel in them which seem almost perfectly designed to fit in with the matches and keep them good and 'fresh'.

This is someone else idea, but I can't remember where I heard it so I can't credit the originator. For a quick and reliable tinder, clothes dryer fluff is *&%$#! good.

Forgive me if this breaches any rules about commercial equipment, and note that I have no connection with these other than having bought one. There's a bloke who trades on e-bay as remococo who makes some clever combined wind/solar generators which may suit some folk here.

Oh aye, a diagnosis of diabetes is a great reason to get my generous and dimpled botty back out amongst the trees, with a bit of planning.

All th best to one and all.
