4 mm EVA 50 sought

Wed 10 Apr, 2019 2:02 pm

My S strap (the best fitting for me) prototype below.
The 10mm is a wee bit too thick for my machine. Anyone know a seller of 4mm -will use double thickness. Even better and Oz seller. Clark rubber?
Machine will do the job easily (this is the second shoulder pad, the first has webbing attached and bar tacked) but the sodding foot wont lift high enough to 'easily' slide the material under.
Too expensive to deliver just this from RSBTR, QUEST, OWAREFINC or EXTREMTEXTIL.
Also after 200D Nylon Oxford- any local suppliers?
Have spent ages hunting but all roads lead to the companies above.
I want to limit my DIY #1 to cheaply sourced stuff.
If I can work at 8mm easily, (I now have the ability, but not sure if my machine does) I will make a complete sack in 10L.
Thanks.

Kmart sell a variety of exercise and yoga mats that may do the trick, eg.

Will you really need extra padding ? If you do why not a double layer of polyester spacer mesh?

That's the EVA50, and Clark's between Anaconda, Spotlight and the cafe?

Yes They had a cut sheet on the rack. You can check out the mountain Designs stock while you are there. I thought is was OK in quality but pretty generic in design and in a fashionista cut

Excellent! Ta for that. Wonder how much that sheet would be worth? Closed tomorrow I suppose.
Mountain Designs? Wha??
Also do you know if Rays Macpac (hub) in WP are open and have the full stock range?
Want to try on a top.

Ta, not too bad a price at all.
Nothing compares with the Euro (UK) prices tho' -at about half that, but delivery is a killer.
