I have repaired and hand sewed numerous bits of gear over the years and would like to get better at it. I suck at it. Tips?

Just practice and more practice, Use pins and an iron and just do it as often as you can.

Google sewing machine shops in your area. Most do lessons.

Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful.
