Liner material for synthetic quilts etc.

So I'm in Lincraft yesterday buying some fabric dye for a project and on my way out I saw some cheap mesh fabric.
The LW polyester mesh many people use for making baffles with.
Does anybody here have any experience with it as a liner fabric with APEX insulation?
I know some people at BPL have used it but I'm no longer financial there. At the moment it is $1:25 a metre which makes it ideal from a cost and breathability POV. It also has possibilities with down as a space-filler drop in for a shelled down insulated jacket or vest
