Cereal plastic bag - What uses?

Got a plastic bag out of a 1.26kg cereal box. Was about to throw it in the bin but then noticed how thick and tough the material is. Surely there can be some uses with it!

The seals are not very durable and can be somewhat easily pulled apart, but the material felt strong at 30x40cm. Nothing comes to mind but wondered if people here have used it or have ideas for it? A bit of a waste to just dump it. Or should I just get on with life?

Otherwise, it's easy enough to just use it as another waterproof bag... I think they are made of PE.

They remind me a bit of milk bags, I wonder if they could be resealed and used to store a days worth of dehy'd food.

I've used similar bags over my socks in my boots for cold and wet conditions as an extra barrier - very effective.

Certainly can I'd think. But I'd say they are a lot more heavy duty than just a food bag. Maybe it can be just used as a food bag, for miscellaneous items and water sealed when rolled up and clipped. Certainly durable to be reusable and puncture resistant.

I'll need to collect a second one to be good as over-socks.

Anything lightweight and strong can be adapted to hiking use.
I prefer to use Ziploc bags. (like sandwich bags)
Beauty of ziplocs is they are airtight and come in a variety of sizes.
I use them for absolutely everything in the hike pack. They even outperform dry bags when canyoning or canoing - but they need your backpack as an outer shell.
