If I'm not headed for Alaska I don't need a winter extreme sleeping bag liner, which is what I was going to use it as.
I have used it once and while the SOL website is full of hyperbole it performed for me the nite I bivvyed in it.
It is windproof, it is breathable within reason but it isn't Goretex and I assume that it would also be reasonable water resistant although that wasn't tested as such melting snow did not wet out my pants.
