Forgot we had this and it's been sitting in the drawer. My daughter's BD headtorch.
Uses 3AAA batteries and selling as a standard, not rechargeable headtorch. See below.
The 3 supplied rechargeable BD batteries seem to be not working. If you wanted this you'd have to buy the Nimh batteries yourself. The booklet says they are specifically available from BD. The red light flashes when trying to charge-the official BD instructions booklet says this is an issue with the rechargeable batteries. It does not affect the functioning with Alkaline AAA bats. My daughter left them in the light for a while and perhaps this has damaged them somehow. They don't look damaged in fact they look brand new. She used it with both the AAA bats and with the NIMH bats.
The hours use in the pic chart show the runtimes for the various brightness levels.
It's a perfectly multi functional long lasting AAA Headtorch. As said, used on two trips only. In spot on nick. I can't see any marks, scratches etc.
I would sell it just for use as a standard headlamp given this and not selling as going rechargeable light. Will include the operating instructions pamphlet to left of pic.
Using the AAA bats supplied with the headtorch all functions well. My daughter liked this model when she used it, but she's out of walking atm so it's not being used and going if someone wants it.
Perfectly functioning White/Dual white/Dual Red lamps/Strobe/Safety etc with AAA batteries. Light comes on at low lumens then whilst pressing dims/brightens etc. Has power lock. See table from pamphlet with all the run times and lumen levels etc. Very long runtimes.
We kept all the packaging it came with but I'll bubble wrap it with just the instructions pamphlet in a AP bag for $35.
No marks stains on head band etc. My daughter used it twice-then it's been in the drawer.
Please feel free to pm me with any questions you may have.
