Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

For sale is my
One Planet Mungo pack in medium size (60L). I bought it earlier in the year from Snowgum in Hobart so it is the 'newest' design (not that the design has changed much in ages). Exact fit harness size is M3 (S4 and H4, see:
http://www.oneplanet.com.au/rucksacks-h ... r-you.html). Colour is black/pacific, aka blue. Has only been used twice on short overnight walks and subsequently has no obvious signs of wear - it is in
excellent condition.I love it as a tough and durable pack (I consider it bombproof) but I have recently made the transition to lightweight gear and can no longer afford to keep it around. I think the Mungo's greatest strength is its simplicity. No external pockets and one access point. This brings the weight and volume down whilst still offering a functional and durable pack.
Photos in the following posts.
The pack is currently located with me in Hobart, TAS but I am happy to post it Aus wide.
Retail is $430. Will let it go for
$320, $300, $280 $250 plus postage! It will be sad to see this go. I still want to keep it but I know it will not get enough use to warrant keeping it around :/

Did not get a chance to take photos today and I will not be back with the pack until after the weekend. Sorry folks!

Great packs, mine is getting a bit long in the tooth, but I can get a brand new one for $347.
http://www.kellysbasecamp.com.au/p/9011 ... mungo.htmlIs the price negotiable?

ONO (or nearest offer). Besides that price is only for a universal long (not so great if you need a medium).

Make me an offer before this goes to eBay.

Can I ask how tall you are? I have a one planet McMill with universal fit, and need something a little smaller. I am 6'3", and fit figure.
I will start you off at $150 PP if you thini it would fit
Cheers.

I am roughly 180cm tall with a slim build if that helps. However, I will not even consider parting with this pack for $150. Sorry.

Oh and the pack is now in Newcastle until the 7th of August if that makes it easier for anyone. Then back to Hobart.
Sun 22 Jul, 2012 7:10 pm
Thanks. I dont really want to spend more than $200 on a pack seeing how there are some nice new lightweight options for a fraction more.
Let me know how $200 sounds, however I understand if you are seeking more.
Cheers.

If I can not get more than $200 I will just keep it. Make me an offer before Sunday, else it is off to eBay. Bleh.

Man I suck at selling things. Make me an offer before I seriously put this on eBay tomorrow!
Pack in back in Hobart.

nobody sucks at selling things. Things that wont sell are due to the fact that the item is usually way over the price of it's worth...this highpricing can occure due to sentimentality, an impulsive buy or simply paying an over inflated cost due to it being a new product...Either way be realistic and anything will sell.
My 2 cents only.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 0962439274On eBay folks. If you can make me a serious offer prior to someone bidding on it do so and I can take it off eBay.

Thats obviously not the case here though. I wouldn't call a pack thats the latest design for that model, having been used only twice & being sold for $150 below the retail price, as being overpriced. I think the issue with things like packs & clothing comes down to fit. It could be free but if it doesn't fit you properly, then its just wasted money.

That's why I said USUALLY....Some items once worn/used once can drop to half price on resale, depending on the flooding of the market I suppose. Surfboards (unrelated I know) lose about $300 as soon as you put wax on it, actually ride it once and your down to half price.
Anyway I hope he gets what he wants for it....I'm a hopeless seller as I usually give my stuff away or horde it under the house "just in case".....

Two and a half days to go. Still no bids so make me an offer here and I can probably sell it to you.
Lots of people watching though...
Mon 20 Aug, 2012 2:30 pm
Despite 21 people watching it on eBay there were no bids... I would rather see it sold here anyway.

No problems Sarah. At this stage the pack is not going anywhere!

Hi Robert
Sorry, I went to Snowgum last night and the Medium harness wasn't right at all.
Good luck with the sale!
