Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

Not sure mate.
I wouldnt think any more than $20.00.
If you want the gear ill take it to the post office, but if its more than $20.00 i wont send it if that helps you?
Not sure what kind of budget your working on.

PM'd

We were organising me buying this travel pack, then you said you were going away for business and we never exchanged details. I've had no reply to further PM's. Are you still around??

Hi again - no answer to various PM's, we were exchanging payment details. I'll try again - is the travel pack still available?

you can look at someones profile and see when they were last online
according to this profile they havent been online for some time...

When I get a PM I get a message on my e-mails.
It just would have been polite to say he changed his mind and didn't want to sell the travel pack. We'd made arrangements, sent adress, he said he was going away for the weekend and would give me bank transfer details on the Monday. Annoying.
I'm guess I'm just having a public whinge

fair enough,,, frankly i think the moderators should know this person is unreliable at selling items...
Mon 04 Mar, 2013 7:23 am
The moderators will become aware of a person's reliability in the marketplace if it is brought to our attention. We don't have time to look at all threads (I just happened to have been watching this one in the past) so if there is a problem such as this, the report post button would be a good place to start.
I must say though, that for a member that has not been active for several months, how you would like us to address this reliability issue is unclear... A warning or ban won't work on someone who doesn't use the forum...

sorry i should have worded it differently,
as in notify the moderators about the persons unreliability
and yeah, it shows he hasnt been on the forum since shortly after posting so they arent a regular user , so taking action wouldnt have any effect.
Mon 04 Mar, 2013 7:49 am
I can see that its annoying, but any deals or plans for deals between members is not really moderators business. If they were in the habit of actually ripping people off, then we might have to see if there is something we can do.
As it is, the person has merely failed to reply to private messages (and may not even know that the messages have been sent - for various reasons). Yes, it's annoying, but it's not something that moderators ought to be interfering in.

I did actually think of that. He was going away for the weekend, seemed really keen, then zippo.
i hope that's not the case (for his family anyway, he would be past caring)
