I have a piece of super thin aluminium sheet. It makes a great windshield.
It is extremely thin and therefore extremely light. Measures 500mm x 300mm sheet, weighs 63g. It can be cut with scissors, torn by hand, hole punched with an office punch, and any sharp edges can be bent back with your finger tips.
It holds its shape as a large item and could be used as a customised windshield for a range of stoves. It can be folded down and stored in your mug or pot. Probably won't last forever, but it will easily give you a seasons use before you need to replace it.
$10, I can pay for postage.
